Amy Poehler Says Goodbye

Amy Poehler said her final farewell to “Saturday Night Live” this weekend at the end of ‘Weekend Update’ with co-host Seth Meyers.
She looked like she was about to get all emotional until Fred Armisen, playing the visually impaired New York Governor David Patterson, wandered into the scene causing her to crack up.
Poehler announced “This is my last show. Being able to do over 140 shows with my friends and my family has been a dream come true.” “I love you,” she told the audience, “and I will miss all of you very much.” She will be most remembered for her impersonations of Hillary Clinton and Katie Couric this season.
Poehler who gave birth to a son, Archie, in October has already signed on to star in a spin-off of “The Office” which will air next year.
