Geri Halliwell Is Engaged After Dating a Month

Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has just announced that she is engaged to Italian shipping tycoon Fabrizio Politi after the couple has been dating for just a month.

The 34 year-old popstar met Politi last month at a night club in Florence and he proposed over the holiday season.

Halliwell’s management firm confirmed the engagement in a statement saying “We are delighted to announce the engagement of Geri Halliwell and Fabrizio Politi.”

As a token of their commitment to each other Fabrizio presented Geri with an engagement ring over the festive season. There are no immediate plans for marriage as the couple are enjoying their engagement.

Halliwell and Politi are rumoured to already be talking about starting a family. Halliwell already has a two year old daughter named Bluebell Madonna from a previous relationship.
