Thurman, Brosnan and Bean Gods

Jacksonville – Percy Jackson�, a fantasy adventure about modern day Greek gods has chosen its gods.

According to Variety, Uma Thurman, Pierce Brosnan, and Sean Bean are all set to star in the film with Thurman playing Medusa, Brosnan as Chiron and Bean as Zeus.

Chris Columbus will direct the film about Poseidon�s 12 year-old half-human son Percy, to be played by Logan Lerman (�The Number 23� and �3:10 to Yuma�), who is on a quest to save his mother, return Zeus�s lightning and prevent a war between the gods.

Columbus hasn�t directed anything since �Rent� in 2005.

Filming will begin next month in Vancouver with a release date of February 2010.
