Rihanna’s New Tattoo Comes Out Blazing

New York – Pop singer Rihanna has recently added another tattoo to her growing collection of body art – a small gun underneath her right armpit.

Tattoo artist BangBang, who is based in New York and has done other tattoos for the singer, said he first suggested the gun design a year ago, based on a necklace Rihanna was wearing at the time that featured a gun. Rihanna recently flew the artist out to her home in Los Angeles to ink one of her friends as a birthday present, then decided to go for the glory herself and ink the gun that’s been a long time coming.

BangBang feels the tattoo represents Rihanna’s strength and power, and this isn’t going to be her last, either. They have other ideas in the works for this year, and Rihanna is not shy about how people are going to react to the gun, in light of her recent altercation with boyfriend Chris Brown. Says BangBang, “People are going to react all different ways.”
