Mel Gibson Confirms Girlfriend’s Pregnancy

Mel Gibson confirmed the rumours that his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva is pregnant live on Jay Leno Monday night.

Leno asked about the rumours and Gibson said “This is true. We’re gonna have a child.” Leno joked, “So that will make 29?”

Quickly, Gibson responded, “Well, actually eight. I guess I’m Octo-Mel.” Gibson, 53, already has 7 children with his soon to be ex-wife Robyn Gibson who he was married to for 28 years.

They have been separated for almost 3 years and on April 13 Robyn filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.

Gibson said “My wife and I, our marriage ended three years ago and we’ve been separated ever since then. These things happen. It’s unfortunate, it’s sad, but you know she is an admirable woman, we still got kids together, we’re friends. Look, when it’s all said and done, I did a pretty good hatchet job on my marriage myself. I’m to blame. If you’re inclined to judge, put it here.”

Gibson and Grigorieva first made their relationship public last month at the premier of “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”.
Grigorieva, 39, also has a child from a previous relationship with actor Timothy Dalton.
