Hannah Montana To End After Current Season

The teen pop star, Miley Cyrus will be saying goodbye to her hit TV show ‘Hannah Montana’. The show, a story of a normal schoolgirl who leads a double life as a pop star, skyrocketed to fame in 2006 on the Disney channel. For three seasons, ‘Hannah Montana’ has been a huge hit worldwide with fans of various ages.

Father and co-star Billy Ray has confirmed that the 16 year old’s fourth season will be her last. Billy has confirmed with Access Hollywood,”Quite frankly, I give a lot of credit to Miley for taking it to another year. She didn’t want it to just end with whatever was the last episode we did… She wanted there to be an official ending to Hannah Montana.”

The show is scheduled to tape 11 more half-hour long episodes ending with a one hour series finale. Taping with start the end of January and is expected to show on-air in 2010.
