Jon And Kate Use Show To Annouce Divorce

A new chapter begins in the life of Jon & Kate Plus 8.

As Kate Gosselin files for a divorce with Jon it isn’t the end of the show, but a new beginning of a new chapter for the family.

Kate never gave any rhyme or reason as to why she filed for the divorce, but she stated that after the weekend she had to do it, that there wasn’t a choice. The 34 year old mom stated earlier that both she and Jon have been dealing with issues for a long time now and it is a situation that would have happened whether or not their show was aired or not. It has nothing to do with their career or the show.

According to Jon he wants to form a friendship with Kate, but right now there isn’t one there. The 32 year old dad also stated that he will always love Kate as the mother of his children and the wife he has had for the past 10 years. They feel that they are doing what is best for the children and themselves.

They are both trying to be positive about the situation with their children and the fans.

The children will reside at the home with Kate being the predominant parent that lives there, but during the filming of the show Jon will be there, but both parents will be filming doing their own thing.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 can still be viewed on TLC at its usual time.
