Jude Law May Face Assault Charges

A female photographer may be pressing charges against Jude Law after a run in with the star early Thursday morning in London.

Law was just coming out of a restaurant where he had been dining with the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Jay-Z at a dinner hosted by “Dark Knight” director Chris Nolan when he was bombarded by photographers.

According to Law’s lawyer “Jude was blinded by the camera flashes when he left the restaurant, raised his hand to shield himself and inadvertently struck somebody standing very close.

He apologized and left.”

The photographer, Harsha Gopal, insists it was intentional and is considering pressing charges against the 36 year-old actor.

Law is currently starring in Hamlet on the stage in London and is bringing the show to Broadway in September.

He also recently finished working on “Repossession Mambo” and “Sherlock Holmes” which are both due out later this year
