Jon and Kate Star’s “Major” Problem?
Jon Gosselin, star of hit reality show, “Jon and Kate Plus 8,” has a major problem—Kate Major, to be specific, say friends.
Ever since their very public breakup, Octoparents Jon and Kate’s extramarital love lives has been the subject of much speculation. For Jon, the recent sexy subject of this speculation is Kate Major.
But Jon is denying that he has any kind of a romantic relationship with Major, reports The Daily News. Major, dubbed Kate 2.0 by the tabloids, has a completely different story.
Last Wednesday, the 26-year-old Major announced that she and Jon were involved romantically and that, due to a conflict of interest, she was resigning from her job as a reporter at Star Magazine.
Friends say that Jon was blindsided by this news. He claims that his relationship with Major was strictly business. What business? Tabloid business, of course.
The two met when Major contacted him for a story that she wanted to write for Star Magazine. Last week, the two were seen cozying up together at the ritzy Accademia di Vino and rumors of a love affair stated flying. But Jon says that ate dinner together as a continuing part of Major’s interview of him.
But whatever it is—or was—it caused Major to up and quit her job.
Although Jon is said to be painting her as some type of a celebrity “stalker,” friends have confirmed that the two have been together—a lot. Jon and Major, they say, have been staying together in Southampton where they have partied with several other celebrities.
But a source that knows Mayor says that the former tabloid reporter is using the former reality show Octodad to get her “fifteen minutes of fame.” Moreover, a publicist “friend” of Major has backed up this source’s story.
Whoever is telling the truth here, it is clear that Major is getting a lot of publicity—and not all of it good. Tabloids have been writing about the blond reporter’s drunken fall down a flight of stairs at a popular restaurant and about her substance abuse history.
Could a new reality show, “Jon and Kate 2.0,” be far behind?
