Ashley Greene’s Nude Photo Drama

The latest saga in yet another naughty photo drama unfolds as Twilight star Ashley Greene tries to suppress the cyberspace publication of nude photos allegedly taken when she was 19. The 22 year old star, recently lauded as a “fresh face” at the 2009 teen choice awards, is threatening legal action against those who publish the photos. “The photos in question, which appear to be of our client, are illegal and are being unlawfully displayed,” according to a statement by the lawyer for the 22-year old actress. “Our client intends to take legal action.”

The photos supposedly recently appeared on the prominent celebrity gossip blog site Perezhilton.com where Ms. Greene’s lawyer called for their immediate removal and insisted that that Ashley Greene alone retains exclusive rights to the photos and that nobody else can legally distribute them. Ashley Greene is the latest young star to be caught up in this type of situation as “High School Musical” starlet Vanessa Hudgens has recently also been embarrassed by nude pics spreading across the Internet.

The naked photo scandal cuts into what should have been a celebratory time for Ms. Greene, as Twilight won the lion’s share of awards at the 2009 Teen Choice Award ceremony including Choice Drama, Romance, and Soundtrack. The up and coming young actress is also slated to star in the soon-to-be-released “Twilight” sequel, “New Moon.”
