In the September issue of Glamour magazine, 180-lb model, Lizzi Miller, appears to be nude and very comfortable in her own skin. Blond, beautiful, and confidently smiling, Miller has all the beauty of a stick-thin supermodel even though her stomach hangs over her hidden bikini underwear.
The photo accompanied an article on women’s body confidence, and in a world where so much emphasis is placed on being thin, readers are sending words of encouragement to Glamour magazine and to 180-lb model Lizzi Miller. Many are commenting that it is refreshing to see a beautiful woman with a figure they can relate to.
The inspiring photo of the 180-lb nude model is bringing home the fact that women are tired of being portrayed as perfectly shaped and thin. Miller, who at 20 years of age is already a seven year veteran in modeling, told Matt Lauer on the Today show on Monday, that she initially wasn’t thrilled with the photo. “I’m just like every other girl who has insecurities,” she said. “The first thing I thought was, ‘OK, not the most flattering picture. ‘”

I think it’s great!!! She looks amazing, healthy and beautiful! I am so glad to see a a beautiful girl like this model than some poor girl who has starved themselves into an emaciated mess. I would love to see more healthy models!
So she has a little extra pudge, big deal. She looks AMAZING! She’s considered a plus-sized model? Ha! No wonder girls these days have such low self esteem. Marilyn Monroe, one of the most famous sex symbols of all time is actually a cow compared to what the media tries to advertise these days. I’m very disappointed that the media continues to flash stick-figure models when men have made it clear time and time again that full curves are so much better.
