Carrie Prejean To Sue Over Hurt Feelings

Carrie Prejean has filed suit against the folks over at the Miss California USA pageant, alleging religious discrimination, defamation, public disclosure of private facts, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

According to TMZ, Prejean filed the lawsuit in LA County Superior Court, naming Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakle.

Though the initial controversy revolved around Prejean’s answer about gay marriage during the interview portion of the Miss America pageant, the Miss California pageant directors grew increasingly critical of Prejean for other reasons, citing semi-nude photos from Prejean’s modeling days that seemed to infringe the contract she signed with the Miss California pageant.
