Man Arrested In ESPN’s Erin Andrews Case
The man arrested for videotaping Erin Andrews nude has been released on bond yesterday.
Michael David Barret, the accused man of video recording the beautiful ESPN reporter Andrews nude had been set free on a $4500 bond Tuesday.
Although he is out on bond, Barret was ordered to wear a monitoring bracelet attached to his ankle and has a strict curfew and no use of the internet.
The Police report that Barret had videotaped Erin walking around naked in her hotel room with his cellphone aiming through an altered peephole. Parts of the video were then released to the public via the internet. The purposed to his insanity was to sell the videos to the celebrity gossip biz TMZ.com.
According to an FBI affidavit, Barret had requested a room right next to Andrews in a Nashville, Tennessee hotel where they suspect that 7 of the 8 videos of Erin were taken.
After the video was released Andrews went into seclusion to get away from the media.
Andrews isn’t the only woman who is endanger of Mr. Barret, other women are too
During the bond hearing for the 47 year old Barret, Attorney Steven Grimes stated to the Judge “Yes, Judge there is other women. He has used his computer to disseminate these videos to the world.â€
October 23 is when Barret is due in Los Angeles at the U.S. District Court to receive his federal charges of interstate stalking.
The maximum penalty for interstate stalking is 5 years in federal prison and carries a $250,000 fine.
