Matthew Perry Has a New Comedy in the Works

According to the Hollywood Reporter Matthew Perry has a new comedy in the works.

The currently un-named TV series has the 40 year-old actor playing a manager of a sports arena who on his 40th birthday begins to rethink his life plan.

Perry will co-write and star in the series with Thomas Schalmme and Jamie Tarses executive producing. Schlamme, Tarses, and Perry all worked together on Perry’s previous shows “Friends” and “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”.

The show idea is being pitched to the networks this week and if all goes well we’ll see Perry again on the small screen.

He most recently starred alongside Zac Efron and Leslie Mann in “17 Again”.
