Bridget Jones 3 Not Likely Not Going To Happen

At the Elle magazine’s Women in Hollywood event on Monday, Renee Zellweger set the record straight about the next “Bridget Jones” movie.

It has been rumoured for some time now that she has signed on for the third instalment of the film but when asked about it she said “I get asked every single day, and I don’t know anything. It’s a rumour.”

When she heard of the possibility of a musical she said “I haven’t been asked, [but] I think that would be weird. Do you think that would be weird?”

“Bridget Jones 3”, if it does finally get underway, will focus on Bridget who is now in her 40s and attempting to get pregnant before her biological clock stops ticking.

Zellweger recently finished filming “My Own Love Story” with Forest Whitaker and is currently spending time renovating her apartment which is proving difficult. She says “I haven’t had the nervous breakdown yet and I haven’t been committed,” she boasted. “That’s no small miracle. I’m very proud of that part.”
