The Crow Reboot Still Moving Forward
A reboot of “The Crow” franchise is continuing to move forward with a script from director Stephen Norrington (“The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen”) being well received by Relativity Media.
“The Crow”, which was originally a comic book series by James O’Barr, is the story of a young man who after being killed by a gang of street thugs is resurrected by a crow and seeks vengeance.
“The Crow”, “The Crow: City of Angels” and “The Crow: Salvation” all focused on the character of the crow being very dark and gothic but Norrington’s vision is to make the character more realistic, hard-edged and mysterious.
The first of “The Crow” films starred the late Brandon Lee who was shot and killed by accident while filming the movie.
He was 28 years-old.
