Comedian Chelsea Handler Gets Naked In Playboy

Comedic darling Chelsea Handler has announced that the rumors that she will be posing for the December issue of Playboy have not been exaggerated. Handler most recently joked with Jay Leno over the pending issue, stating that she had to stop drinking “like for a day and a half” in order to get in shape for the photo shoot. Handler will have some esteemed company in the magazine this December, including work by cartoon artist Robert Crumb and an interview with James Cameron.

Unlike some recent Playboy cover girls, Handler is actually choosing to make her appearance at the very peak of her career. In recent years, her unique brand of comedy has one over the decidedly fickle world of comedy critics, and she was just included as one of Bravo’s A-List comedians for 2009. For the uninitiated, Chelsea Handler is a stand-up comedian that has been on the circuit since 1996 and is currently the host of her own late-night talk show on the E! Entertainment channel.
