Carrie Prejean On Larry King

Dethroned beauty queen Carrie Prejean has been making her rounds on the talk show circuit to discuss the sex tape that was released of her and her boyfriend when she was 17. This follows the rather conservative stance that Prejean had taken before the release of the tape with her expressing views that were opposing gay marriage and advocating that she is a Christian fundamentalist.

Now with the release of this tape Prejean is caught in the rather unique position of having to explain as to if she was a Christian when she was making the tape. During a recent interview Prejan commented, “It was a personal thing, and I never said that I was perfect. Nothing is private anymore.”

What this shows is that Prejan is right nothing is private anymore especially when you are celebrity. The situation is made even worse by her being shown to be a hypocrite publically. However, many former beauty queens have went on to become major stars within the world of entertainment after having such revealing photos or videos released of them such as Vanessa Williams. In the case of Carrie Prejean only time will tell if she can overcome the negative publicity that she received from the release of the sex video.
