OC Housewife On The Way to Divorce

Hit reality TV show “The Real Housewives of Orange County” is getting lots of publicity due to a recent divorce announcement by one of the stars. Tamara Barney’s husband has filed for divorce citing infidelity as the cause. Simon Barney has moved out of the couple’s luxurious home and moved into an apartment. He filed the papers on his own without the help of an attorney.

The couple first appeared on the show 2 years ago. They have been married for 11 years and have 3 children together. Sources report the couple has been having marriage difficulties for several years but the final straw was Tamara’s alleged infidelity. She claims it was an innocent conversation with an ex-boyfriend.

She has denied the claims and says her soon to be ex is just a controlling and jealous man. Simon has also accused Tamara of being verbally abusive, which she also denies. Tamara’s role on the show appears to be that of the bossy, meddling friend, which lends to her husband’s claims of verbal abuse. She has taken to her blog to defend herself and claims that her side can be heard when her fans tune into her spin off show.
