‘Pants’ a rip-off?
“Pants on The Ground” is the hottest song since the “The Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini” from 1960. This song has had the same affect on the masses as one of those really outrageous songs that keeps playing over and over in your head. It was heard by millions of people on the most popular television show that showcases new and unusual talent. With all the hype and instant popularity attached to this song, there will be a single made and it will likely hit the number one spot.
This song was sung by 63 year old Larry Pratt and makes fun of the current street dress of guys wearing their pants so low they almost fall off. The guys wearing their pants this way even seem to be enamored with the song and it’s catchy phrase that’s hard not to like.
The song has already been remixed and is ready for recording. You can also download a ring tone of “Pants on The Ground” for your cell phone. That’s true success! There’s a draw back though, a group called the Green Brothers say their song “Back Pockets on the Floor” is basically a song with a similar message. Time will tell if the American Idol contestant will come out on top in the end.
