Amanda Bynes Announces Retirement At Age 24

Monday, 21 Jun 2010

Actress Amanda Bynes has announced that she is retiring at the ripe old age of 24.

She wrote on her Twitter page “Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. If I don’t love something anymore, I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore, so I’ve stopped doing it. I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve retired.”

Bynes’ last big screen movie was “Hairspray” in 2007 and she has starred in a few TV shows since then. Bynes last movie will be “Easy A”, a comedy starring Lisa Kudrow,

Thomas Haden Church and Stanley Tucci that’s due out in September.
