Kate Gosselin: Botched botox job
Some observers noticed that reality star Kate Gosselin had some strange shaped eyebrows as well as a smoother face, as she was running around in Pennsylvania earlier in the week. Plastic surgeons reported to ‘UsMagazine.com’ that the 35 year old had botox treatments that had gone in the wrong direction.
A George Washington University Division of Plastic Surgery authority, Dr. Michael Olding, said that Gosselin looked much better in an earlier photo. He commented that she had great hair along with a nice smile and a normal brow position. However, he commented that the ‘after’ picture shows the results of Dysport or Botox that was poorly placed. Dr. Olding commented, “The lateral part of her brow is elevated in an abnormally high position, which my patients refer to as ‘McDonald’s arches!’”
Dr. Stephen Pearlman, from New York City, said that Gosselin’s seems to be experiencing a drop in her eyebrows at the center. Dr. Pearlman believes that Gosselin may have been injected in the shape of a ‘V’ on her forehead. This results with the muscles near her temple not being affected. He concluded, “…so they over act, giving this Jack Nicholson type of look! Her upper eyelids look a little hollow, which can be as a result of the brows being pulled upward.”
Another surgeon, Dr. Kenneth Beer said, “This is a bad injection technique with poor placement. He further stated that this “…can be corrected by a few injections above her eyebrows to let them drop a bit.”
