Doc of ‘Octomom’ in Danger of Losing his medical license
Doctor Michael Kamrava caused the death of a fetus by implanting too many embryos into a patient. He is the same doctor who implanted numerous embryos in Nadya Suleman, otherwise known as ‘Octomom’. The Medical Board of California deems his actions to be hazardous and careless.
He is in danger of losing his medical license after several failed implantation trials on pregnant women. One woman was born with triplets, and one of them had severe developmental delays. Another was a patient over 35 who was supposed to give birth to quadruplets, but the pregnancy ended in complete failure.
Dr. Kamrava has been under investigation ever since the octuplet pregnancy of Suleman. Recently he was involved with a patient that had a history of cancer, but Kamrava deemed it was safe to go along with the embryonic transfer. She had a failed pregnancy and was later diagnosed with metastatic stage III bilateral ovarian cancer. Her reproductive organs such as the uterus, cervix, ovaries, and fallopian tubes had to be removed.
As of right now Dr. Michael Kamrava is scheduled for a license hearing in regards to the accusations of negligence and maltreatment. His hearing is scheduled to be on October 18.
