The evidence is becoming clearer that the new health insurance plans designed to be affordable health care for the masses will in fact be a nightmare. Plans that once allowed you to select a hospital, doctor or other health care provider will no longer give that option. You will be required to use whom the insurance company deems fit, and that is it. If you want to select your own medical professionals, be prepared to pay more- a lot more.

This is not just rumor, there are tests going on right now in cities like Chicago that are promoting this new, restricted health care. Keeping your current healthcare may not change this effect. You may soon see an increase of 15% or more and new restrictions being placed on what you can receive as treatments and by whom.

Health insurance providers have stated that the new requirements set forth by the Obama administration have made these changes necessary. Since insurers will be required to provide everyone coverage they will have to restrict coverage to manage costs. Americans may not be as pleased with this new health care legislation as they originally first believed. As these new policy plans unfold, coverage may become very sparse.
