Russian-American actress Natasha Alam lands Playboy cover

Russian-American model and actress Natasha Alam is the cover girl for the July 2010 edition of Playboy magazine. Most recently Alam started in the hit series “True Blood” playing the role of Yvetta who is an exotic dancer.

Alam is definitely excited about the idea of being a Playboy cover girl, “I never imagined that I’d one day be a Playboy cover girl. The magazine is so legendary, so when my publicist approached me about the opportunity I said, “Hell yes!” she said in a recent interview with The Hollywood Gossip.

Alam definitely has to give thanks to the hit show “True Blood” for helping her land the Playboy cover. Since she has starred in the TV series she has been noticed as an international sex symbol and more people are starting to take notice. The show has also helped her to overcome a fear stating, “I’d never done nudity, and I had to overcome a few things in my head to do it”.

Natasha Alam has been on many other TV shows previous to starring in “True Blood”. In the past she has appeared on “Entourage”, “Nip/Tuck”, “NYPD Blue”, and “CSI”. Alam also had a role on “The Bold and the Beautiful” for a few years.
