Michael Douglas Throat Cancer Update – Tumor Is Shrinking
A few days after undergoing a treatment of radiation and chemotherapy, Michael Douglas, 65, revealed that the tumor in his throat began to subside. The statement was given in an interview with USA Today.
The actor also said he is confident in the outcome of treatment for curing cancer, detected a month ago.
“I like my chances. I will not think of death until I say ‘oops, we have to go back and do surgery’ or something.
The tumor is shrinking, the chances are good,” he told the site.
The husband of actress Catherine Zeta-Jones will treat even for another seven weeks.
Delayed diagnosis has angered the wife of the American star. She said, Michael Douglas spent months in offices trying to find out the reason for persistent pain in the ear and neck.
The test results indicate cancer who had been ready on August 16.
