Michael Douglas Says Cancer Tumor Is Shrinking – UPDATE
In an interview with USA Today, Michael Douglas, 65, stated that the tumor in his throat has started to subside.
Douglas recently underwent radiation and chemotherapy after doctors detected throat cancer in the star, nearly a month ago. During the USA Today interview, Douglas stated, “I like my chances. I will not think of death until I say ‘oops, we have to go back and do surgery’ or something.
The tumor is shrinking, the chances are good.”
The cancer was found late, angering Douglas’s wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, who stated that Douglas had spent months consulting doctors for ear and neck pain.
