Kelly McGillis recently opened up about her sexuality and now has taken her relationship with her girlfriend to the next level. The 53-year-old actress entered into a civil union arrangement with Melaine Leis her 42-year-old girlfriend. The ceremony was held last Wednesday. The pair has known each other for 10 years. The couple reportedly dated for eight years before taking some time off and eventually getting back together.

McGillis starred opposite Tom Cruise in Top Gun in the 1980s blockbuster film before her film career fizzled out in the early 90s. McGillis has been married two times before and has two daughters.
