This diet isn’t actually new. It started when Dr. Peter J. D’Adamo wrote his famous book, “The Blood Type Diet” back in 1997. Since then, the book has sold 5 million copies. The diet advises you to eat certain foods depending on what your blood type is.
For example, if you are blood type A, you should avoid red meat, dairy and eggs. You should eat fish, white meats, and nuts.
This may seem simple, but the reason behind it is different blood types mean different genetics. So some foods end up being fine for some and not good for others. Check with a doctor before considering this diet.
