Who Was Voted Off Dancing With The Stars?
Margaret Cho slipped on Dancing With the Stars’ performance night this week, but I thought she still had enough personality to carry her through. I also figured since Bristol Palin was near the bottom of the leaderboard, her run on the show would be over. Well, I went 0 for 2. Sigh.
The comedian, the activist, Rick Fox and Kyle Massey were the last four stars “in jeopardy.” After the men were pronounced safe to dance another week, Tom stressed (like in every results show) that either Margaret and Bristol was going home but it didn’t mean the other was in the bottom two. We had been offered no clue as to who the real bottom two were and I wasn’t sure if that was a good or bad thing.
But after a looooong hour of waiting, not to mention the return of Michael “Bow Wow” Bolton, Cho was chopped. She cried as she watched her video montage (who can forget the horrible wings during Week 1?) and thanked the judges for being tough with her.
Aside from her missteps, Margaret’s routine started out so good. She clearly has the talent but nerves seem to get the best of her and she loses it halfway through a performance. It’s too bad because I think if she focused more, she’d have done really well.
This season, each week has a theme. While Story Night is over, next week is Acoustic Night. It could be calm but undoubtedly, look for Brandy and Maks to continue to battle (it’s clear he can’t stand her — he shares none of that fun chemistry with her like he did with his former partners), and Mark will make up for this week’s too-close-for-comfort finish and choreograph a beast for Bristol. But what I’m looking most forward to? The Situation finally busting out his abs. Hey, anything to stay in the game, right?
