Michael Douglas Cancer Treatments Comming To An End

Michael Douglas’s is now coming to the end of his eight-week chemotherapy and radiation treatment for throat cancer.

With one treatment left publicist Alan Furry told Access Hollywood, “He finishes his treatment today and has about six weeks of recuperation to get through.”

Burry also said Douglas is staying optimistic and is still hoping for a full recovery.

The actor will have to have regular checkups to monitor his recovery during the six week recuperation.

Douglas has had a hard time with treatment; experiencing difficulty swallowing, however, the actor is determined not to have to be feed through a tube.
