Celine Dion Gives Birth to Twin Boys
Canadian music recording star Celine Dion has recently given birth. The pop diva and her husband, Rene Angelil, welcomed a pair of twin boys into their lives on Saturday.
The boys were born just a minute apart over the weekend at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The couple, who had experienced several failed attempts at in-vitro fertilization, were ecstatic.
As of Sunday, the pair remained unnamed, but loved by their parents and older brother, Rene-Charles.
“We haven’t been sleeping much the last couple of days but everything is going really well,” said the couple.
“We’re so happy.”
Dion was only 34 weeks along into her pregnancy when she was admitted to into the hospital on October 18th in a preventative measure to prevent a premature birth. Each baby weighed just under six pounds.
Dion will be returning to the stage in March 2011 as part of a multi-year contract with Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
