Tiger Almost Ruined Katy Perry And Russell Brand’s Wedding

The big news this weekend was the marriage of Katy Perry and Russell Brand in India, a wedding we’ve all been waiting for since they first hooked up after the 2009 MTV VMAs.

While no official photos have been released just yet, news of a killer tiger escaping just yards from the wedding did.

According to reports, a tiger named Maharaja, who has reportedly killed three local villagers in the past year, was startled by the noise and lights coming from the Ranthambhore National Park, where the Hindu ceremony was being held. He then leaped over two walls and ended up within “striking distance” – 15 metres and one more wall – from attacking Perry, Brand and their 85 guests.

Being a killer tiger, the situation was pretty dire, but thankfully security guards were there to beat down the giant cat with some sticks before scaring it off into a forest.

Said an unnamed source, “This particular tiger has killed before. It came into the compound at 11pm, with the party at its peak, and caused pandemonium among staff.”
