Sources close to Mariah Carey say that the all-star singer might be expecting.

This speculation has been enhanced by the fact that Carey has been seen out and about sporting what looks like a baby-bump under her clothes.

If the singer is pregnant, this will be her first child with husband Nick Cannon.

As early as today, Carey has confirmed her pregnancy stating that she will be due sometime in the spring of next year. Carey said that she and Cannon are very excited and had been trying for a while to get pregnant before it happened.

Carey has said that she always wanted to be a mom but wasn’t sure if she was able to have kids.

Cannon is reportedly very excited about the birth and has said that they are already planning a huge Christmas to give gifts to the unborn child. Carey and Cannon have said that they don’t want the to reveal the sex to the press prior to the birth.
