Demi Lovato Still In Rehab For Eating Disorder

Lovato’s father asked to stop speaking

Representatives of teenage singer and actress Demi Lovato have asked her estranged father, Patrick, to stop speaking to the press regarding Lovato’s condition.

Lovato abruptly left the Jonas Brothers tour last week to check into treatment for what are being described as emotional disorders, and her father began blaming Hollywood for the problems. Legal threats to the man have been issued by Lovato’s mother, Dianna, as well as lawyers for Disney.

Sources are claiming that Lovato is in rehab for an eating disorder, and say a fight with a backup dancer led her to check into treatment for issues stemming from teenage bullying.

For his part, Lovato’s father said he is proud of her successes, does not want to interfere in her career and only wants her to be well.
