HSBC Champions Underway In China

The HSBC Champions golf tournament is underway in Shanghai, China.

The big news from the first day is that Lee Westwood, the new number one golfer in the world taking over for Tiger Woods, was at the top of the leaderboard with a 66. Westwood ended up one shot back of Franceso Molinari who shot a 7 under 65.

Tiger Woods on the other hand looks that he is not happy with being demoted from the overall number one world’s ranking as he is currently two shots in back of Westwood and has always done good in World Golfing Championship tourneys such as the HSBC.

Henrik Stenson was a part of a group of three golfers tied for third at 5 under.
