Apple Is Making A Major Announcement Today
Apple made a big announcement today. Their note yesterday stated that it will be something unforgettable – a day you will never forget.
Depending on who you are, your age, your interests, and so forth – well, the announcement stems on those factors.
The announcement is that Apple has won the rights to sell Beatles albums on iTunes.
Although the plans are not precise, and subject to change at the last minute, it is a big announcement.
So far the representatives from their label, EMI, and Apple Corps LTD (the manager of the Beatles affairs) did not respond to inquirires.
To date Apple Corps has refused to allow John, Paul, George, and Ringo’s music on any of the internet services – and this has included iTunes.
So, for a group that has not been together for a number of years – they still maintain their popularity and they still continue to add to their bank accounts.
This announcement will certainly enhance both.
