And the winner of the Sexiest Man Alive 2010 contest is–Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds!

Shock of shocks he wasn’t even on anybody’s guess who list.

Not only that but Reynolds’ wife Scarlett Johanssen was recently named ‘Babe of the Year’ and appears on the upcoming cover of December’s GQ Magazine.

Humor-ville is already saying that at least Reynolds can be the ‘sexiest man on the household garbage detail’!

It could be said that the fate has shined a bright light on Reynolds since the trailer for his upcoming movie “Green Lantern” is online now with the movie to be released next summer.

Reynolds beat out Top Ten Stars Lister, Justin Timberlake. Rumor has it the favorites among the 98 nominees were Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

Among other well known and highly favored nominees was Jon Bon Jovi.Ironically this is the 25th anniversary of People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive contest.
