iPad Update, iOS 4.2 To Come Soon?

The much-rumored release of the iPad update and the iOS 4.2 been delayed again and it is now thought that both will be unveiled on November 24th.

It was originally speculated that these announcements would come from Apple on November 12th and, when that did not occur, on November 16th.

Apple itself has never announced a specific date for these announcements, saying only that they would occur in November.

It is rumored that issues relating to the iPad’s ability to connect to WiFi networks is the primary motivation behind the delay.

Many believe that the iOS 4.2 will give iPad users the ability to multitask on their devices, just as users of Apple’s iPhone are currently able to do.

AirPlay, which would provide users the ability to stream audio and video to compatible devices from the iPhone or iPad, is also thought to be a new feature.
