Mythbusters Team Apologizes For Mishap

The team from the reality series “Mythbusters” has apologized to the families that were affected by a cannon ball that misfired during the taping of their show. The 30 pound cannonball hit two homes plus a parked minivan in Dublin, California on Tuesday. Nobody was injured, but the family had left the minivan only minutes earlier.

Mythbuster hosts Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, who were not at the scene during the incident, visited the homeowners personally and promised that steps would be taken to insure there would be no further accidents.

They toured the damage and expressed relief that there were no injuries.

There had been reports that the series would be canceled as a result of the accident. Savage has denied the rumors, and the series is reportedly still in production.
