Fifteen years ago, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith were married in a secret ceremony on New Years Eve. This year will mark their fifteenth year as husband and wife and they have weathered the ups and downs.
Unlike many other celebrity couples, the Smith’s have no plans for an extravagant celebration. Accoreding to Jada Pinkett Smith, the couple celebrates their life together through out the year. On the actual anniversary, they will just give themselves a high five and celebrate the fact that they survived another year.
Recent rumors of a divorce have swirled around the power couple in recent months. Pinkett Smith has denied those rumors and said the “couple are best friends” and a solid marriage means “being there for each other”. Will Smith echoed those thoughts at the première of “Men In Black III” saying that the couple “always makes an effort to put family first.”
