Jessica Simpson Gains 60lbs During Pregnancy
Jessica Simpson, who gave birth to her first daughter on May 1st, gained 60lbs during her pregnancy. The pop star, 31, best known for her music career and portrayal of Daisy Duke in 2005, has been quoted as saying she wanted to “enjoy her pregnancy”. She didn’t worry about what she ate, and never thought of her weight during her pregnancy. A month and a half after the birth of her daughter, Maxwell, Simpson is speaking out about her weight gain, the regular photographs taken of her during her pregnancy, and her plan to drop the baby weight.
Simpson has signed on with Weight Watchers to be their new spokesperson. The star claims she doesn’t have a goal weight in mind, but is looking to get healthy and fit once again. The Weight Watchers model has worked wonders for previous spokesperson, Jennifer Hudson, who shed 80lbs on the system.
Simpson is engaged to the Eric Johnson.
