Who Were The Worst National Anthem Singers?
The national anthem is a song that shows our pride in our country. But unfortunately, not all performances of the song have been something we can be proud of.
There have been many poor renditions of the song but several that cannot be forgotten. Ballad crooner Michael Bolton attempt fell flat when he was seen peeking at the lyrics he had scrawled on his palm. Between that and the terrible echo, the audience was not captivated.
I don’t think any of us will ever forget Roseanne Barr’s poor choice in singing the national anthem. Her mistake was deliberate and she made a mockery out of the song.
Worst of all was perhaps was Kat Deluna. Deluna tried but fell very, very short. Her attempt at our national anthem was marred by forgotten lyrics, lack of skill in hitting notes meant for more talented individuals and a bout of overconfidence.
