Latest reports claim many members of his congregation stand behind him in his fight against misconduct allegations.
It appears his accusers were 16years of age– the legal age of sexual consent in Georgia. One Pentecostal Bishop from South Carolina demands Long’s dismissal and is reported to be planning a rally to be held in Atlanta later this month.
To add insult to injury, a billboard recently appeared on Atlanta’s interstate causing much controversy among Georgians.
Bishop Long has hired a private investigator seeking information regarding the billboard.

The whole thing doesnt sit well, and if you didnt do it, any right person would say look i didnt do what they are accusing me of. I never slept with those boys and I can prove it. Now when there is text messages, videos, and photos, he needs to stop it. I too had a pastor that wa sleeping with a member of the church and claimed it wasnt true, until his wife and the mistress got into it at the church picnic, it all was true. We were caught up in their scandal, but this wouod be the same pastor that sat me down when I became pregnant. Sin is sin, there is none bigger than the other, but if he is going to be gay bashing, and going on rants about peoples lifestyle, he should practice what he preaches.
I am a believer that the word is life, and it is written whatever is done in the dark will come to the light. I think Eddie Long is not innocent, I believe because the first guy left he thought he got away with it, however, his desires were not gone he went after another one, the next guy left because it was hard to deal with, now we have four(4) not one (1) saying he did perverted things to them. It is obvious to me that they all had homosexual tendencies or Mr. Long would not have been able to turn them out. Always remember the bible says if any man say he has no sin he deceives himself. All has fallen short of the glory of God. Repent and get it together. I believe he was exposed because he not only did those guys, he was a married man to a woman breaking the covenant of God’s marriage. He had to be exposed as an adultress along with being a molestor of young gay man, either way it is now out. If the members stay it won’t be Eddie Longs fault it will be their own.
Just My Thought
I pray that the wife can overcome this mishap of her marriage, and that she speak with those woman who have experience this type of betrayal and not those who do not have knowledge of getting over the betrayal, anger and denial. Also, I pray that the truth comes out and he admits his wrong and not hide behind the congregation to justify his actions. Sometimes, God’s people act like we serve a unwise God, but he is ALL WISE. If this is true the people should think about another brook of life to sustain them and where they can believe and trust their leader. It is also written, I shall not be mocked whatever a man sows that shall he reap. Where can the righteous go, if our leaders fail us???? This is really aweful and sad if it turns out that it is true. Who shall be trust as our Men of God??? Male leaders who is married to woman and secsretly desire Men????? This is my question.
