Bishop Eddie Long Scandal, Long Owes $1.9M Mortgage

The trouble never seems to end for Bishop Eddie Long.

First he was investigated by the government for possibly misappropriating the funds of the Bishop Eddie Long Ministries, Inc. back in 2005.

Then in late September, four men stepped forward with lawsuits claiming that Long had abused his power as a religious figure head to sexually coerce the men into having sex with them back when they were teens.

Several days ago, his former wife Dabara S. Houston made claims that Long had abused her during their two year marriage. And now?

Yet another possible lawsuit, this time being presented by the DeKalb County (GA) State Court. State Bank and Trust and the FDIC asking the court to tell Long and his partners that it’s time to pay up the $1.9 million mortgage debt “within 10 days”.

Long and his partners were granted a loan in the amount of $1.86 million towards the purchase of the ‘Hoops N’ Fitness’ gym in Jonesboro, GA.

The sellers of the ‘Hoops N’ Fitness’ gym claim that they have never received a payment.

It would seem that his penis isn’t may not be the only thing that Bishop Eddie Long can’t keep a handle on.
