Bishop Eddie Long Releases Official Response To Sexual Allegations

Bishop Eddie Long has finally came forward and made an official statement about the allegations against him. In the courtroom Long stated that it was not unusual for him to share a room with other male members of the church when they were on trips nor does he deny providing financial gifts or help to members.

He stated that the help he gave was out of kindness and not payment for sex. While he has stated that he allows other male members to call him “Pastor”, “Daddy” or “Granddaddy”, and that he is prone to hugging people as a form of affection, he has not partaken of any illicit sexual conduct with any member of his church. He completely denies all allegations against him by the four young men.
