Did Creflo Dollar go too far?
Famous Atlanta Pastor Creflo Dollar is denying the recent misdemeanor charges of simple battery and cruelty to children that were placed against him Friday night. He addressed his congregation this past Sunday saying that the charges police made about him are nothing more than “exaggeration and sensationalism”.
Atlanta police were called to the home of Creflo Dollar Friday night because a call was made by his daughter. When police arrived at the home, they were told that he allegedly choked her and police were forced to arrest the Atlanta Pastor.
When questioned, her sister recalled the events saying her father did indeed grab her younger sister, slap her and choke her for about five seconds. Her mother was unable to give a first hand witness account of the fight because she said she didn’t witness it.
After addressing his congregation Sunday, he seemed to have his members support by the standing ovation he received.
