Giant Lobster of New England
Capt’n Elmers is a seafood restaurant along Cape Cod that has a giant on display. The monster is a 21 pound lobster that is nearly 3 feet long with 12 inch long claws.
The lobster was caught off Nauset Beach in Orleans, Massachusetts.
Lobsters of this size have become increasingly rare along the New England coast.
Most lobster fishing beds along the coast have max gauge regulation limits.

To ensure the viability of the beds, lobsters beyond a specific size must be released. Nauset Beach does not have a max gauge limit.
The giant will be raffled off for charity.
