Harris, Roberts and Madigan Set for Virginia

Ed Harris, Emma Roberts and Amy Madigan are all set to join the cast of “What’s Wrong with Virginia”, an indie drama from the Oscar winning writer of “Milk”.

Dustin Lance Black will direct and write the film about a sheriff (Harris) who sees his state senate bid fall out when his daughter begins to date the son of a charming but psychologically disturbed woman with whom the sheriff has been engaged in a 20 year long affair.

Jennifer Connelly has already been cast in the title role of Virginia, the disturbed mother.

Variety reports that Roberts will play the sheriff’s daughter and Madigan the sheriff’s wife.

“What’s Wrong with Virginia” is set to begin filming at the end of the month in Holland, Michigan. ain.

He says, “I’m looking for an English wife. I’m looking for a house over here. I need a boxing ring though and a full-sized gym. London’s like my second home.”
