McConaghey Once Again New Daddy

It is definantely time to ooh and ahh. The naked bongo-playing actor who broke onto the scene with his portrayal of stoner David Wooderson in the movie Dazed and Confused has had another baby. Yes, Mathew McConaghey is once again a proud papa.

Vida Alves McConaughey is a healthy 7 lbs., 7 oz bundle of absolute joy. The first picture of the little princess was posted on dad’s blog this morning. Along with the picture Matthew wrote, “Here’s a pic of our latest family member Vida Alves McConaughey. Thanks for all your well wishes our way, the future’s lookin bright, just keep livin, Matthew and Camila.”

The baby was born on January 3, 2010 at 12:13 am. Mom, Camila Alves, is not going to have very much time to recuperate. Her new reality show Shear Genius will debut Wednesday on the Bravo channel. With the responsibility of promoting a television show so soon after giving birth, it is good to hear that Camila is planning on making some concessions towards taking it easy. She publicly announced that Mathew would have to wait 40 days before having sex again. Coincidentally, Camila 40 day ban just happens to end on Valentine’s Day.
